Emotions: Unfocused, relaxed, creative.
Morales
Had an incident today which brought me to think about how I react to situations, and giving in to anger and doing things I will regret. This particular event happened when I made a mistake, and was unwilling to accept that and instead took it out on someone else. I want to be the sort of person who is willing to admit to error and look for a solution to how I can improve for the future, being humble and committed to personal improvement always, not getting too ahead of myself.
Directions
I learned today also that setting short term goals for the day, or Sunday afternoon like today it gives me more direction on both days off, and at work. Achieving goals, even simple ones (get forehand huck to sit in wind, good distance, lead a reciever), provide a positive boost, and the process of figuring this out can be fun. Stimulates creativity!
For example: trying to think of creative ways to sit the disc out in front of receiver, visualizing a game scenario with different cuts.
Another example: Guitar, trying to figure out a particular picking pattern without tab, through sound and being creative.
Lessons from Dagg
Yesterday read a great story about israel dagg in the lead up to the world cup in 2015. Not having fun, using creative instinct and gut feelings, leads to too much rigidity.
Tuesday, 28th June
Out of sorts
Sometimes simple tasks like cleaning the space in which I live brings a lot of satisfaction when feeling confused, and a little directionless.
Quotes:
"Do not identify wth that which comes and goes. You are greater than this". Same goes for being out of a career path. Just a temporary state, I will get a new opportunity doing something I enjoy and am passionate about.
